In this fragrance, Amouage uses both frankincense and myrrh as the key ingredients to create a density of chaos and disorder whilst maintaining a balance of sensitivity.
In the top notes, there is an apocalyptic and destructive element with bergamot, oregano and pimento berry oil. This creates an interval tension of perturbation right from the beginning.
In the heart, teh fragrance uses amber, frankincense, cistus and myrrh to masquerade the tensions. Both the myrrh and frankincense play with the dimension of time and space.
In the base, the remembrance of chaos, destruction and disorder are represented with the everlasting and intriguing leather, agarwood smoke, patchouli and sandalwood. It’s the purity, rarity and authenticity of these ingredients that will be remembered eternally.
