The sensuous heart of neroli and osmanthus is perfectly balanced with water lily, green rhubarb and a hint of fruity mojito aroma fusion adding unexpected twist to the fragrance. In many ways this was the beginning of the Crown Perfumery’s fine fragrance empire (before Clive Christian), the most famous of William Thompsons perfumes and one of the earliest recorded scents. Designed to be worn alone or layered this perfume from the portfolio was inspired by the apple blossom tree that grew outside William Sparks Thompson’s home in the Boltons, Kensington. This ingredient, never captured before, was immortalised in this iconic Crown Perfumery Fragrance, a revolution for its time.
