An eternal, avant-garde classic from Mark Buxton and Comme des Garçons. The fragrance is inspired by Japanese sumi ink, deep black drawing ink and the contrast of light. This artistic mood is reflected in the ingredients as well as the silver-shimmering bottles.

 

The luminous, modern side of the scent comes from new aldehydes, joined by fresh orange and mandarin blossom notes and vetiver. The “dark” side is built on an oriental-chypre backbone: a black ink accord, maté absolute (a stimulating tea from the Andes), patchouli, labdanum, frankincense, vanilla and the deep, balsamic notes of amber.
