Blanche Bete

Blanche Bête captures the essence of the unicorn; the imaginary animal with the body of a white horse and a single, twisted, poison-neutralizing horn. This beast embodies dreams, love, and mystery. Its supernatural strength and beauty are only perceived by creative minds.

The fragrance, developed by perfumer Louise Turner, brings a tenacious musky and milky incense. Powdery, gently sweet notes make this animal tamed, tender, and dream-like yet omnipresent and persistent.

As the unicorn was often depicted in medieval tapestries alongside a young woman in a flowery garden, the composition also needed to include a white floral bouquet at its heart. Here, some vintage jasmine and tuberose are blended to sweeten the skin of the beast. Tonka and cacao give it a warm drydown, with a musky vanilla interlacing throughout.
