Do Son EDT

Yves Coueslant, one of the legendary founders of Diptyque, grew up in Haiphong, a bustling port in the northern part of Indochina where his father worked as a lawyer. His mother, who suffered a lot from the hot weather and the heavy rains, rested for long hours in her quiet and calm room in semi-darkness. In the evenings, he enjoyed tremendously when the scent of the tuberose he loved so much arrived on the breeze coming from the ocean.
Do Son opens on a definite note, but it quickly calms down into something really ethereal and dewy – especially in light of the fact that this is a tuberose composition. The overwhelming strength of the tuberose is softened by light greenish notes together with rose and iris without directing attention to themselves.
